古罗马攻城器械是直接师承自古希腊的科技，并为他们带来一次又一次的胜利[1]。而凯撒大帝更是将它的技术含量推到极端，为罗马帝国扩张疆土给予极大的帮助[2]。当时主要的攻城器械为弩、投石车、梯子、攻城塔、攻城槌及地道等工具。
